Actress Laurie Metcalf, who has been in the industry for over four decades now, is no stranger to television sitcoms. While Metcalf began her career with the Steppenwolf Theater Company, she quickly moved onto television in films. Along the way, she’s starred in his like 3rd Rock From the Sun and, of course, Rosanne, its reboot, and subsequent spinoff, The Conners. Meanwhile, Metcalf’s also earned three Emmys, two Tony Awards, and an Oscan nomination.

Today, Metcalf continues to act in the Chicago theater scene, as well as in television and film. Here’s a fun fact you might not know: also voiced Mrs. Davis, Andy’s mom, in the Toy Story franchise since 1995.
