Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy – 38 Years Together

Actors William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman met while working in a theater company together in the early ’80s. While Huffman has confessed she fell in love with Macy at first sight, the couple dated off and on for 15 years before officially becoming husband and wife.

What took so long? Well, in interviews, the Desperate Housewives star explained she’s terrified of commitment, as she grew up in a fractured family. Macy actually proposed several times over the years, but she didn’t seem to take it too seriously. After a lengthy breakup, Huffman finally realized Macy was the right man for her, and the two tied the knot in 1997. Today, the couple share two daughters, Sophia and Georgia.
