Mark Harmon and Pam Dawber – 33 Years Together

After they began dating in late 1987, Mark Harmon and Pam Dawber quickly became one of Hollywood’s hottest “it couples.” In case you don’t remember, Dawber starred in the hit sitcom My Sister Sam while Harmon, fresh off his role on St. Elsewhere, had recently been dubbed in People’s Sexiest Man Alive.

Since Harmon and Dawber constantly walk the red carpet and interview, they try their best to keep their relationship out of the public eye. “We’re not trying to keep something secret,” Dawber said. “But if you don’t want it totally exploited by the press, you have to.” Harmon has let something slip, though: he thinks the fact that they waited to get married worked in their favor. “We were both in our thirties when we got married, so hopefully the stupid stuff we did earlier. That’s probably the closest I have to what the key is,” he said.
