The Doctor’s Response

After so many months, Keely Favell had finally gathered up her courage and gone to the doctor. Only there, she did not receive the answer she expected. Believe it or not, when the doctor returned, he said that there was nothing wrong with Favell. Even worse, he accused the woman of “merely being fat” and trying to get out of responsibility by blaming it on some mystery illness.

Favell stormed out of the doctor’s office, both furious and ashamed. She knew that she wasn’t faking, but she had no idea what to do next. From there, things only became worse and worse…
