Rescuing the Baby Calf
The whole village sprang into action, focused on helping the mother elephant and her calf stuck in the mud. They knew they would need the right tools, and they would need them now. Meanwhile, the mom hauled herself upright and went right back to digging. But every scoop just pushed more mud into the hole, and it started to look like the baby could be smothered.
That was the moment everyone understood they could not wait around. The calf was already in trouble. Luckily, a few quick thinkers in the crowd pulled their heads together and came up with a plan. With the rest of the villagers jumping in to help, they moved fast, determined to get the little one out before time ran out.
