Beth thought all hope was lost. However, as the doctor began explaining to the woman what her adoption options were, her face fell. It seemed like this final conversation had thoroughly instilled in the woman just what this would mean for her newborn. Once the two finished discussing the adoption process, the woman turned to Beth, with tears in her eyes. “I want you to adopt my baby, she said. “I can’t give my baby to someone I’ve never met.”
