For each Barbie doll, there must be a Ken doll. Just like Lukyanova, as a child, Rodrigo Alves never had any inkling he would one day turn into a human doll. But the two have almost identical life stories! Like Lukyanova, Alves became obsessed with dolls’ perfection as a young man.

Sadly, as a teenager, Alves suffered from a “hormone dysfunction which caused [his] breast tissue to grow at the rate of [his] female peers,” which led to terrible bullying. As a young man, Alves felt if he could just look like his ken dolls, he would be happier…
