Focusing on the Positive

“I noticed that the media is only interested in the negative,” Lukyanova said recently. “[They always] show someone in a bad light, show someone’s mistakes.” Of course, over the years, the negative news stories about the human Barbie doll have only continued. Sadly, instead of exploring all of Lukyanova’s life story, they only ever focused on the negative aspects.

Thankfully, it has not all been bad. Along the way, Lukyanova has gained millions of fans and even inspire other “human Barbie dolls” and “human Ken dolls.” Even stranger, today, she says that the hateful comments actually fuel her mission in life!
