No Turning Back

A note under the door would’ve been easy to ignore—if it hadn’t come with the ominous message: “Stop looking where you shouldn’t.”  The simplicity of the message only made it more unsettling. Tim wasn’t one to scare easily, but the reality hit fast: he was being watched.

But rather than retreat, the threat only sharpened his resolve. It wasn’t a random warning—it was confirmation that he was getting closer to something that someone was willing to go to great lengths to keep hidden. Fear didn’t have a chance to settle in. If anything, the threat only made the mystery more irresistible.
