John Barrasso – Peter Barrasso

Growing up in Wyoming, Peter Barrasso had a front-row seat to politics, but he preferred to stay behind the scenes. Joining the family in 1988, he was already an adult when his father, John Barrasso, was appointed to the U.S. Senate in 2007. By then, Peter was carving his path, studying at Georgetown University while watching his dad take on Washington.

He pursued a professional career outside politics, focusing on business and finance. While his father became a key figure in the Senate, Peter built his legacy in the private sector, keeping his work and life largely out of the political spotlight.
