Chely Wright and Lauren Blitzer – 12 Years Together

Of all stars, country musicians sometimes face the most considerable challenges to coming out. Country music artist Chely Wright certainly knows that. However, these days, she has no problem telling everyone that she’s madly in love with her wife of ten years. The two met just a couple of weeks after Wright came out and quickly fell in love.

While Wright certainly faced intense backlash when she came out, she now knows it was the right choice. “The freedom of being out and open about who I am allowed me to find and fall in love with Lauren – the most amazing woman I’ve ever known,” she explained in a recent interview.
