Actors Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder decided to take their relationship to the next level in a small surprise wedding ceremony on April 26, 2015. For her big day, the Twilight star chose to wear a backless, boho-inspired gown designed by Clarie Pettibone. The gown also featured an illusion neckline, three-quarter length sleeves, and a dramatic train. However, Reed skipped the wedding veil, teaming her gown with wavy half-updo.
About the dress, Pettibone told People, “From the moment we met, we had a great rapport, and it was so easy designing for her! Since she wasn’t going to wear a veil, I suggested adding a bit more drama to the train by adding a lace-edged tulle layer to the skirt.”
