Character: Zack Johnson

Zack Johnson often appears clueless on the series and is Penny’s former love interest. In fact, he and Penny once got married on a whim while in Las Vegas. Unsurprisingly, both Penny and Zack were unaware that it was a legal wedding and ended up having it annulled later. Even though he’s usually a friendly folk, Zack is really dimwitted and displays even less understanding of sarcasm than Sheldon.

Despite not being smart, Zack has expressed his interest in science. In season 4, Amy briefly meets him and feels sexually attracted to him. Later on, she approaches him on a bar and tries to hit on him. However, Zack’s stupidity becomes too much of a turnoff for her to go through with it.
