Character: Leslie Winkle

Leslie Winkle is an experimental physicist who works in the same laboratory as Leonard. Quite literally, she’s Leonard’s female counterpart, equipped with the same black-framed eyeglasses and zippered hoodies. Whenever Leonard walks into the lab, Leslie is always using the equipment inappropriately to prepare food.

Leslie and Leonard engaged themselves in an on-again-off-again relationship, but we all know how that one turned out. Later on, she also dates Howard. Because of her shallow and manipulative personality, she’s the central antagonist of season two, though the only true hostility she displays is towards Sheldon. Leslie last appeared on the show when she rejected Leonard’s offer for casual sex.
