Character: Bert Kibbler

Bertram “Bert” Kibbler is another employee of Caltech in the geology department. He first appeared on the show as a socially awkward character that Raj met before a library date with Lucy. At that moment, Bert asked to join their date but Raj sent him away. Afterward, he appeared when he meets Amy while she’s working on her lab at Caltech.

Bert falls desperately in love with Amy and keeps bringing her interesting and gorgeous rocks every day. Afterward, he asks her to a rock concert but she turned him down because she has a boyfriend (Sheldon). He then starts talking about how nobody would ever how out with him and Amy, in a fit of sympathy agrees to go. What’s more, he believes Sheldon is the coolest for going out with Amy!
