A Dangerous Process
While the photos might seem dreamlike and peaceful, they were actually quite dangerous to captures, given their delicate nature. Thankfully, Mueller is no amateur! An explorer of over 50 countries, she had the experience to take the task head-on. Still, after discovering plane after plane, Mueller could not help but feel a surreal feeling like she might be in a dream.
Some of the airplanes were covered with sand on the ocean floor, and looked almost like a shark, fin and all. Others stood straight up on their noses! Eventually, Mueller came to the end of the graveyard and could not believe her final count…
