Tony decided that, while having other parents at his side was great, having the community of Los Gatos by his side was even better. So, after he talked to the other parents, the father logged onto the community website NextDoor.com and shared his feelings.

In a long post, Tony included not only his thoughts on the dress code but also direct quotes from it. He pointed out how it listed out “tank tops with spaghetti straps,” “midriffs,” and “short shorts” as not appropriate, all aimed at female students. Meanwhile, Tony also noted how the dress code said students could not show “underwear,” but male students were rarely reprimanded for showing their boxers.
