Things Stayed the Same
Just 11 days later, Raymond J. Fisher Middle School made their official announcement. Sadly, despite a seemingly productive meeting between Tony, the parents, and Principal Fisher, the school refused to change the students’ dress code. That’s right! They completely ignored the outcry from parents and the community!
Horribly, Tony Alarcon’s fight for justice didn’t lead anywhere. Naturally, the Alarcon family felt utterly disappointed by the verdict. No one, especially Demetra, knew how to return to the school or move on from the decision. Thankfully, in time, the family would band together and find ways to make do, despite the upsetting decision.
