Dad Comes to the Rescue

The thermostat read 90 ⁰F on the day that Demetra Alarcon arrived at Raymond J. Fisher Middle School in her blue romper. Unfortunately, while Demetra loved her romper, it grabbed her teacher’s attention for all the wrong reasons. Immediately, her teacher took the 13-year-old to task, claiming Demetra’s romper showed too much skin. Specifically, her teacher felt it was too short. Out of nowhere, Demetra found herself embarrassed in front of the entire class.

Demetra didn’t know what to think. While her teacher criticized her, her parents had okayed the romper. Soon enough, her teacher phoned the young teen’s father. Little did the teacher know, this would only make things worse, not better!
