A Back-up Plan

Plucas was excited to see Emma roaming free in the woods. However, he knew there was a chance that she could fall victim to the local hunters just like her mother did.  However, he knew he couldn’t keep her on his farm either.

In an attempt to avoid the inevitable, Plucas decided to invite the local hunters over to try and get them on board with his master plan. “I had some hunters over for them to see her as not just a nice, warm steak with potatoes and vegetables on the table, but as a very intelligent and loving animal,” he said in an interview. But would his plan work?
