Tom Hanks – Colin Hanks

Many might assume that having Tom Hanks as dad means acting advice any time you want it, right? Well, not quite. In fact, Colin Hanks has let fans know that he and his father don’t actually talk that much about the craft. “I don’t have the time to write that email, and he doesn’t have the time to respond,” Colin has said. “When we see each other, we like to talk about other things.”

Back in 1999, Colin rose to fame starring in the well-received sci-fi TV series, Roswell. He started full time on the show when he was just 22. From there, Colin went on star in his first movie, Orange County, in the early 2000s alongside Jack Back. Here’s a fun fact: Colin Hanks is the oldest of 4 siblings, 3 of which are IMDb accredited actors. Seems like acting runs in their DNA!
