An Amy Schumer Prank Ft. Kanye and Kim

At the 2015 Time 100 Gala, comedian Amy Schumer decided to make a grand entrance, or rather, grand fall, in front of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. So, she threw herself to the floor, hoping for the ex-power couple’s attention. Kanye and Kim, both icons in music and reality TV, respectively, continued on their way, seemingly unphased by Amy’s dramatics.

Amy’s prank embodied the spirit of unpredictability and was both bold and hilariously awkward. It’s as if she was performing a live-action reenactment of “Falling for Kanye” that, unfortunately, didn’t quite land with its intended audience. But the stunt added a touch of comedy that the formal red carpet needed.
