Does this look like a child having fun on his birthday? Well, it is! A photographer snapped this pic of Prince Charles on his seventh birthday, looking incredibly dapper in a Balmoral tartan kit. A family piece, Prince Albert designed the outfit all the way back in 1853!
Here’s an interesting fact about a tartan kit: its unisex! In fact, Queen Elizabeth has also worn one. The outfit bears special significance to the Royal Family, so, if a member would like to wear one, they must first obtain permission from the queen. That just goes tho show how much Queen Elizabeth loves Prince Charles! And how could you not? Look at the face!
