26. Raising Princesses
Some might require a little Royal history recap to recognize the faces in this photo. On the left is actually a young Queen Elizabeth, back when she was just a princess! On the right is her sister, Princess Margaret Rose. Unfortunately, this is one of the last photos the girls would take with their Queen Mother for some time.
You see, not long after this photo, King George and the Queen Mother went to Australia to oversee the opening of a Parliament House there, in Canberra. Of course, the Queen Mother felt an incredibly deep attachment to her daughters, and loathed leaving them behind. However, they needed to stay in school! Ultimately, thankfully, their parents returned safely!
