Crashing Into The Sand

While crashing into a pit of sand might not be as painful as falling onto ice or a basketball court, it certainly does not look fun! In case you didn’t know, long jumpers are a different breed of athlete in the track and field world. After all, if you told a normal person on the street that they could make millions (potentially) just by jumping into a box of sand, they’d probably think you were joking.

However, if you’ve ever attempted a long jump, you know just how challenging it can be! Now think about doing it over and over and over again in practice. So, we’re going to cut this woman a little slack and just say thank you for the funny photo!
