When Melissa and Jackson Brandts went to scenic Banff National Park, everything started fine. At one point, Jackson set the tripod up along Lake Minnewanka, hoping to take the perfect photo of him and his wife alone in nature. After setting the camera’s timer, the couple waited – only to have a squirrel steal all the limelight!
As you can see, Melissa and Jackson didn’t mind one bit. In fact, afterward, they shared the photo online, and it went on to be included in the likes of National Geographic, CBC, and other magazines. Unsurprisingly, it also became a popular meme as the ‘crasher squirrel’ and ‘photobombing squirrel’!
