It’s A New ‘Benin’ For Her

What’s better than a perfectly timed photo? Well, a perfectly timed beach photo, of course! Going by the moniker “No Name,”  acclaimed Finnish photographer Wilma Hurskainen loves to create pictures that play with our perceptions as well as our hearts. This photo, called “Waves,” captures Hurskainen’s sister at the beach in Benin, Finland, while also making one fantastic optical illusion. It’s almost as though her sister is melting into the Earth!

After Hurskainen published this photo, it started making waves on Reddit, before making its way to the likes of Huffington Post, The Daily Mail, and PetaPixel. Hurskainen and the coastal regions of Benin sure love their newfound adoration!
