When The Extreme Measure Is Needed
Some individuals go to great lengths to deceive their employers, as illustrated by creating a fake job offer, complete with a fabricated contract and a fictitious company registered with Companies House. Such extreme measures highlight the lengths people might go to secure a pay raise or better working conditions.
According to a study by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the most common reasons employees leave their jobs include better compensation and benefits (41 percent), career advancement opportunities (32%), and dissatisfaction with management (22 percent). This confession underscores the pressure employees feel to improve their financial situation, even resorting to unethical tactics to achieve it.
