Ashcraft’s Thoughts

During her 41-days trip, Ashcraft had nothing more but her thought to keep her company. To keep her mind focused, the young woman decided to think about all the things she hadn’t had the chance to experience at the tender age of 23. What’s more, her desire to do those things kept her alive through it all.

“Then there’s the whole shout out to the universe: ‘If I live, I promise I won’t ever do this or that or whatever!’ I mean, you’re just making promises to the universe. It’s very humbling, and it really puts you in your place,” Ashcraft recalled.
