Limited Supplies

When Ashcraft discovered that the closest landmass lay over 1,000 miles away, she felt a crushing blow of defeat. With the yacht’s new speed and her limited food supply, just canned fruit salad and sardines, it seemed like an impossible task. However, with no other options, Ashcraft put head down and started sailing. After all, there was nothing else to do!

Hopefully, a current would pick her up and carry her towards Hawaii even faster. Unfortunately, Ashcraft had no way of making the ocean do so. She simply had to trust in her skill and continue moving forward. As each day passed, the young woman hoped that the Hawaiian islands would soon appear on the horizon…
