Going Away

Even though Chris had the opportunity to enjoy himself playing and cuddling his kids and watching with baby girl grow in her mom’s belly, one difficult question lingered over the family’s heads. You see, they all knew that Chris would eventually earn yet another deployment notice in the near future.

However, the question was, when? And for how long this time? Not only that but what events could unravel in the world that would once again delay Chris’ return for months at a time? Unfortunately, no one knew. All the family could do was to cross their fingers and hope with all they had that he wouldn’t miss the birth of his baby girl.
