She’s The Man (2006)

Fans of Hollywood classics might be less familiar with She’s The Man, but that has not stopped it from becoming a millennial fan favorite. The romantic comedy stars Amanda Bynes and is actually a modern retelling of Shakespeare’s classic play, Twelfth Night. Hey, why reinvent the wheel when you don’t have to?

Just like the play, the story revolves around the character of Viola (Bynes) dressing up as two bother to pass off as a male. Except in the movie, she does it to play soccer with the boys! Even after revealing her gender, her teammates still do not believe it. So, to prove she’s a young woman, Viola pulls up her top, showing that she is most certainly not “one of the boys.”
