The Lion King (1994)

Sometimes, the most paused moments in movie history are also some of the most divisive. Take this scene from the beloved 1994 animated film The Lion King. When you look up at the sky behind the lions, do you only see a starry night sky? Or do you see something far more insidious?
According to some eagle-eyed – or overly-suspicious – parents, the stars in the sky spell out a rather inappropriate three-letter word for making love. However, Disney swears that the stars, in fact, read “S-F-X,” the common abbreviation for special effects. Who’s telling the truth? Only you can be the judge!
