The Paleo Diet

The first decision that Cooper made was that her and her daughter, who she named Grace, would follow the Paleo Diet. For those unfamiliar, the Paleo diet is known officially as the Paleolithic diet, which attempts to follow the diet of cavemen as closely as possible. Generally: they avoid processed foods or anything caveman could not hunt or gather themselves. As such, the Paleo diet consists of eating lots of fruit and vegetables, as well as meat and fish. Most importantly, they avoid all added sugars!
Cooper first learned about the Paleo diet after graduating college and it completely changed her life. To the food scientist, the diet became a lifestyle that she paired with frequent workouts. But how could meat and vegetables ever affect her child’s life?
