Occasional Updates

Thankfully, unlike other birth mothers, Crotts was not wholly cut off from her daughter. While she never met or talked to the young girl, her adoptive parents did send Crotts the occasional update via letter and email. These updates even sometimes included photographs!
“I received pictures and letters for the first five years, and then a letter and picture yearly, on her birthday,” Crotts told the Daily Mail.
