For those not in the know, cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease that affects about 70,000 people globally and for which there’s no known cure. Horribly, it cuts down one’s average life expectancy to around 46 years due to related lung problems. As a 55-year-old-man, Mason felt terrified by what his doctor told him!
