Of course, Mason wasn’t the only one affected by the revelation and loss of his sons. You see, his entire family was as well, as they suddenly found out their nephews – and grandchildren – weren’t truly theirs. Mason’s mother, Brenda, took it the hardest of them all.

85-year-old Brenda suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, and when Mason visits her once or twice a week, she always asks him how the boys are doing. Even though he tried to avoid the topic, he eventually has to tell her that they’re no longer in touch. Of course, he also had to reveal the reason why – again, and again, and again…
