Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner – 49 Years Together

Iconic actress Lily Tomlin and writer and director Jane Wagner met back in the 1970s, when Tomlin wanted someone to help her develop a comedy special. After working together just once, Tomlin and Wagner immediately started dating. Tomlin finally married her partner of 42 years in a private ceremony in Los Angeles, on New Year’s Eve, in 2014. “They’re very happy,” said Tomlin and Wagner’s spokesperson, Jennifer Allen, after the wedding.

Today, nearly 50 years after they started dating, Tomlin and Wagner remain happier than ever. “She expresses how I feel, which I have no ability to do,” Tomlin said. “She can express in words what I feel about the world, about humans, about the struggle that we’re in.”
