While Nikki Reed might not be half the age of Ian Somerhalder, there’s still a 9-year age gap between the two vampires stars. The couple started to make public appearances back in 2014. Just six months after they started dating, the pair were officially engaged. Reed and Somerhalder married in 2015, and in July 2017, they welcomed their first daughter, Bodhi Soleil.

It is safe to say that Reed and Somerhalder’s relationship is going remarkably well. In fact, the two are always on the same page when it comes to their parenting. For instance, the couple agreed on their unorthodox decision to take a month with no technology or visitors following Bodhi’s birthday.
