Elton John and David Furnish, 15 Years Apart

In case you didn’t know, beloved singer Elton John and film director David Furnish were among the first gay couples in England to form a civil partnership in 2005. However, the pair fell in love long before that, having dated since 1993. Despite their 15-year age gap, John and Furnish have stood the test of time. So it should come as no surprise that the couple married when England legalized gay marriage in 2014.

Today, happier than ever, John and Furnish share two sons, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John and Elijah Joseph Furnish-John. They were both born through the same surrogate mother. Now that 74-year-old John has officially retired from touring, he has more time than ever to spend at home!
