DIY Dry Shampoo

Like Lip Venom, dry shampoo has become all the rage lately, although it’s been around since the 15th century. For those who don’t know, dry shampoo is a powdered shampoo, often made from corn starch or rice starch, that reduces hair greasiness as it has no need for water. While companies like Lush can charge upwards of $20 for their dry shampoo, there’s a DIY version that will save you a lot of dough.
To make your own dry shampoo at home, simply mix 6-10 drops of your favorite essential oil with two tablespoons each of corn starch, rice flour, and arrowroot powder. Now you can apply the mixture to your roots and remain oil-free for the whole day!
