Michael Troughton – Minder, Born: 1955

The Debonair and distinguished Michael Troughton is celebrated for roles such as Melish in “Minder” and Sir Piers Fletcher-Dervish in “The New Statesman,” in a varied career spanning film, television, and theatre. Despite a flourishing career, he took a heartfelt hiatus in 2002 to care for his wife, during which he pursued a science degree and taught physics and drama.

Returning to acting in 2013, Michael appeared in “Breathless” and the 2014 “Doctor Who” Christmas Special, “Last Christmas.” Handsome as ever, nowadays, he channels his expressive talents into audiobooks and narrations, working as an approved Amazon ACX audible producer from his Suffolk studio.
