Born in 1947, Nicholas Day honed his acting skills in regional theatre before making his mark on the prestigious National Theatre under the direction of Richard Eyre. He also spent seven seasons with the Royal Shakespeare Company, showcasing his versatility in classical and contemporary roles.
While many may recognize him as Detective Sergeant Morley, the sardonic foil to Arthur Daley in the popular 1980s series “Minder,” this British actor’s filmography boasts diverse projects. He’s played everything from Jack the Ripper in “Goodnight Sweetheart” to a police officer in “Foyle’s War.” Today, Nicholas remains active in the industry and starred in two episodes of Netflix’s hit series, ”The Crown.”
