After Workout Doughnuts
How ironic can it get than sweating it out in the gym only to snack up on a doughnut shortly after? Doesn’t it beat the purpose? Unless the doughnuts are sugar-free, they don’t make a healthy post work out meal.
Besides taking plenty of water, high protein, low-fat foods are recommended to repair the muscles and replenish lost energy. High carb snacks like doughnuts are a big no-no. Then again, everyone has a sweet tooth, and this could be a motivational snack. Hmm, quite interesting, though.
