Shelley Duvall

Who can ever forget the legendary actress Shelley Duvall? After all, she starred in one of the most iconic horror films of all time, The Shining, opposite Jack Nicholson. She also starred in plenty of other major hits, like 3 Women and Popeye, alongside Robin Williams. Her last performance came in 2002, before Duvall disappeared for many years.

Thankfully, in a 2021 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Duvall revealed that she’s doing fine and now living in Texas. It seems she has been quite busy over the past few years, just not working. Instead, Duvall said that she’s dealing with her mental illness and financial missteps. “It’s not just owning something that makes money,” Duvall said of her financial mistakes. “You have to also control it. You have to make sure it’s a good deal.”
