Most famously, back in 2008, Heigl actually withdrew her name from the Emmys, after a nomination for her work on the hit medical drama Grey’s Anatomy. “I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination [so] I withdrew my name,” Heigl confessed at the time. As you can imagine, showrunners did not appreciate the move, and the actress spent some time in Hollywood jail. Since the incident, Heigl has found less and less work. But thanks to her recent Netflix hit, Firefly Lane, we might see a resurgence soon!
