Carrie Henn – Aliens

James Cameron’s sequel to Alien, Aliens, earned a whopping $131 million at the box office, spent 48 weeks at number one, and won an incredible seven Academy Awards nominations. So, it’s really no surprise that the only kid in the movie, actress Carrie Henn, would go on to become one of the most remembered child stars of the ’80s.
Surprisingly, despite winning a Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor, Henn left the industry after Aliens. The reason? While she enjoyed the role, Henn says she never wanted to spend that much time away from her family ever again. Today, the 45-year-old works as an elementary school teacher at Shaffer Elementary School in Atwater, California.
