Linda Blair – The Exorcist
Even today, child star Linda Blair is best remembered for her first, breakthrough part as the possessed child, Regan, in the ’70s classic The Exorcist. Blair was just 14 at the time, but she still managed to earn both a Golden Globe and an Academy Award nomination. And anyone that watched The Exorcist can tell you: she deserved the awards!
Sadly, after The Exorcist, Blair failed to achieve the same success. Instead, she worked mainly in B-movies, television films, and horror flicks. However, in 2004, the former child star found her true calling: she founded the Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation, which helps rescue animals.
