Judy Garland – Liza Minnelli

When your mother is none other than iconic actress Judy Garland and famous film director Vincente Minnelli, you’re basically born to be a star. Even today, Garland remains one of the most famous actresses ever, thanks to her role in The Wizard of Oz, a massive hit in 1939 and a beloved classic today. So, it should come as no surprise that Garland and Minnelli’s daughter, Liza Minnelli, started acting in her teens!

A beginning her Broadway career in 1963, Liza quickly a Broadway icon, starring in hit musicals like Cabaret, Lucky Lady, and Rent-A-Cop. She then made the jump to film and continued working until the 2000s. Today, 75-year-old Liza only comes out of semi-retirement for the roles that really call to her, like small parts on shows like Arrested Development and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
