Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman

Actress Elizabeth Banks first locked eyes with the future husband Max Handelman on her very first day at college at the University of Pennsylvania. The two quickly became involved in a romantic relationship not long after, in 1992. Today Bank’s college sweetheart is an Oregonian-based sportswriter and producer.

Even though Banks did not finish her conversion to Judaism, she said she had the belief of Handelman. “It [feels] like I’m as Jewish as I’m ever going to be,” she said in 2019. The two lovebirds have been married for 15 years and now have two children together. We wish them the best!
